IBM hosted a members and allies event at their Melbourne HQ. Samantha Davies hosted a fireside chat with Iskra Nikolova and Corey Montry to discuss the realities of hiring diverse leadership teams, and Michal Chorev gave a pirate themed talk on how AI Governance helps to navigate the shark filled waters between AI Risk and Value. Our discussion groups covered a variety of topics. There was career coaching, networking, architecture discussions and everything in between!

Microsoft hosted a members and allies event at their Melbourne office with 80+ attendees. Speakers were Bridget Gray from Gray Talent Corporation and Gretchen Scott, CEO of Kaleida to advise on more proactive career planning approaches.

AWS hosted our first members only Personal Development event, featuring Kerry Pietrobon, founder and celebrated fashion designer as our keynote speaker to talk about confidence and personal branding through fashion.  Breakout sessions after the keynote to allow group discussion and personal sharing and coaching.

  ANZ Bank supported the launch of Technology Executive Women by hosting our first event for members and allies at their global HQ in Melbourne, sponsored by Gerard Florian and Carina Parisella. We had 2 guest speakers at this event, Dr Morley Muse from iSTEM Co. and Michelle Gleeson from Kaleida. It was a fantastic event with 60+ attendees representing a variety of leadership roles across the technology landscape.

Members event at QT Rooftop. Focus on group connection and relationship building. People joined at different times and enjoyed in the informal setting.

Mantel Group hosted a members event in Melbourne, sponsored by Linda Connolly. Samantha Davies and Leigh Gibson led a discussion with the group of 45+ tech leaders to share experiences and discuss common themes.

Telstra hosted a members and allies event, sponsored by Shailin Sehgal. Samantha Davies ran a panel on Effective Male Allyship with guests, Gajan Ananthapavan (ANZ), Andrew Lovrek (Telstra), Adam Richings (Databricks) and Leigh Gibson (Telstra).
